This year is extra special because they have whimsical products for the holiday season and a Golden Christmas Cracker Treasure Hunt. I am excited to give you a peek at our favorite items from the Cost Plus World Market Holiday Shop that are sure to be part of magical holiday memories. I am am also thrilled to finally share exciting news that has been a secret until now -- we will share clues with you for the Golden Christmas Cracker Treasure Hunt on Twitter every morning at 8am (CST) throughout the treasure hunt campaign. That is, November 1st through the 27th.
Let's start with an overview of the Golden Christmas Cracker Treasure Hunt:
What: The Cost Plus World Market Golden Christmas Cracker Treasure Hunt with prizes Where: Participating Cost Plus World Market Stores - click here to find participating stores When: November 1 to 27, 2019 Round 1: Starts at store opening until 3pm (daily) Round 2: Starts at 4pm until store closing (daily) Prizes: Each Golden Christmas Cracker results in a $20, 50 or $100 reward, plus once a winner pops open the Christmas Cracker, they will also receive a paper crown (tissue party hat), a motto (joke or riddle), a snap (friction activated popping device), and a large gift or novelty item. This year's theme centers around Christmas Crackers. Christmas Crackers are also known as "Crackers". These decorative party favors make it fun to celebrate a variety of special occasions and festive events. Cost Plus World Market is known for having the largest collection of Christmas Crackers available during the holiday season. The tradition of pulling the crackers and donning party hats has created a relaxed, festive atmosphere for holiday parties.
If you remember the Golden Bell or Golden Llama treasure hunts from the past two years, the Golden Christmas Cracker Treasure Hunt is a similar concept. Cost Plus World Market employees will hide four Golden Christmas Crackers around the store every morning and then again at 4pm. If you find one of the game pieces, you are in for a treat! To keep in spirit with the Cracker tradition, each Golden Christmas Cracker not only results in a $20, 50 or $100 reward, but once a winner pops open the Christmas Cracker, they will also receive a paper crown (tissue party hat), a motto (joke or riddle), a snap (friction activated popping device), and a large gift or novelty item.

Now that I've told you about the Golden Christmas Cracker Treasure Hunt, let me share some of my favorite holiday items that I recently found at Cost Plus World Market.

Our family has a tradition where we create gingerbread houses during Thanksgiving break and then donate them to my children's school for their gingerbread village.
