Mildew smell is not only unpleasant, but it is also very unhealthy

Old mildewed towels are pretty undesirable, any way you slice it, but there is a way you can bring your towels back to their natural luster that only requires a few household products and a washing machine. When I found this excellent towel cleaning video tutorial by Bethany Fontaine, on YouTube, I was more than ready to give this new cleaning method a try.

You will use the vinegar and baking soda in the washer, but if the towels are really smelly, you will want to soak them in this mixture for a few hours.

Then, you will add the vinegar and baking soda straight into your washing machine as you begin the hottest and most intense cycle.

This method works really well for smells of any kind, including dog urine, and rotten food smell that happens sometimes in dish towels.
